Historical interest

To this very day, the ruins of the Limes bear witness to the Roman siege of long ago. Old mines and countless castles make the Ostalb an attractive region for hobby archaeologists. Even the Ancient Romans appreciated the charms of the Ostalb – after all, in the Limes, they built an important protective wall for the region.
