Global Mobility Program

The Global Mobility Program is available to all Carl Zeiss employees. The goal of the program is to send employees on international assignments for specified periods of time, giving them the opportunity to experience other countries and cultures, familiarize themselves with the world of international business, and help strengthen the network of individual Carl Zeiss locations.

Carl Zeiss offers the following types of assignment:

  • Short-term assignment (from 3 to 12 months)
  • Long-term assignment (from 1 year to max. 5 years)


Employees on international assignments receive comprehensive support and assistance before, during and after the assignment. This includes intercultural training, language courses, relocation services, and much, much more.
